Heading to Arizona

We are so excited about the adventure ahead to Williams Arizona. We are leaving this afternoon after Derek get's out of school, and are hoping to reach the hotel by 9 pm. For this trip, we have decided not to haul the trailer. We didn't want to spend the extra time on the road, or packing it up for the trip.

Tomorrow we will visit Northern Arizona University, to meet with the volleyball coaching staff and get a feel for the campus. I have a few recruits who are really interested in the program, so I am pretty excited to get to know the program on a deeper level. Depending on what time we finish at the school, we will either head to the Grand Canyon, or rome around Flagstaff. I am bringing the tour book with me to explore on the road.

Sunday morning we will hit up the Grand Canyon and hike the trails.  The boys are all really excited about seeing the Canyon.  Derek and Devlin are really afraid of heights, but I am certain they will feel a little better once we arrive.  I am the only one who has seen it, and it has been almost 20 years.

Sunday evening we are scheduled on the Polar Express Train to see Santa. Even Derek is looking forward to it. He wanted to do this trip when he was younger, but I always waited too late to book. In this family, if you don't believe, you don't receive! So Derek is in a "believing" spirit :)

Monday we drive to Phoenix where Derek and I will visit Arizona State University, and Grand Canyon University. I'll be meeting with the coaches at both schools, touring the campus and getting a thorough understanding of their programs. Derek will tour the campuses with me as he is a freshman in high school, and I want him thinking about what he wants in his college experience.

Tuesday we head home to prepare for Thanksgiving. We have over 30 people coming over. It's going to be an amazing holiday season. We are so blessed, and thankful for all that God has provided. The hard work and determination Marty and I have put into My Recruiting Solutions has paid off, and we are so grateful for our family and our health!

More posts and pictures to come....
